“ My experience in Brazil with the Nike Elite Youth Basketball was tremendous and one I will never forget. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the Brazilian culture, experiencing international basketball, and most importantly... Having a positive impact on those we met at the orphanages. Fabio was a an exceptional liaison, guide, and group organizer. I highly recommend any program or event he is involved with! ”
- Alan Stein, , Nike Strength Coach.

" The Brazil exhibition tour was the final elite youth event of the summer and it allowed our players an opportunity to continue their international playing experiences. This is a once in a lifetime trip for most of these kids to expose them to the global game and we hope they will benefit just as much from the educational aspects we have incorporated into the trip as the basketball."
- Raphael Chillious, Nike Elite Youth Business Manager.

“ I really enjoyed playing against the to players in Brazil. But one thong I loved and will remember for the rest of my life is the smile on the kid’s faces that we visited. Thank you Fabio for a great time!”
- Milton Jennings, Nike Elite Basketball player.

“ My experience on this trip was nice. I did things that I never done before and saw things that I never saw before. So I enjoyed myself overall, even though our bodies are exhausted. Thanks for everything.

" I thank you (the PSAL Organization) for a wonderful time that we had together. This is a once in a lifetime experience and I thank everyone that has participated into getting all of us to go to this all expense trip. I am thankful for everything and I would never change it for the world. This is an experience I will never forget. I loved everything about this trip, example: the kids, museum, games, food, and the opportunity to be in Brazil with the PSAL organizationat the One World Games. If not for the PSAL this would never have happened. I love everybody and I hope for the best in the upcoming future.
PS OBRIGADO!!!!!!!!!! God Bless and Good luck! Beleza!!!!"

" An experience I will never forget in Brazil was going to the city Sao Paulo. After the game we played all the kids came up to me asking for my jersey, so I gave away my shorts and my tops and I signed it for the kids. They were so grateful and that was the most memorable experience I have."
- Terrence Henderson, Wadleigh High School

" My favorite part of the trip was when we visited the kids. It felt really good seeing the kids receive the gifts. They were so happy and that made me feel very good. I felt really good giving my stuff away. This trip was an unbelievably great experience that will stick with me forever."
- Matas Rascius, Grover Cleveland

" First of all, it was a true compliment just to be selected to participate in the One World Games trip to Brazil. It really makes you feel good about yourself that others believe you have what it takes to make something happen.

Brazil is a beautiful place and looked just as I had pictured it. It was a gift from God to receive an all expense paid trip out of the country to play a sport your really enjoy and may consider pursuing in the future. Everyone in Brazil was very friendly and ill feelings after losing a game were not held as most often in America. The other teams were just excited to meet Americans. They acted as if we were famous and cried if they couldn’t have the sweaty jerseys off of our backs after a game.

Besides all of the “fame” we received the best part of the whole entire trip for me was visiting the poor children in a type of shelter. I have never gone to visit the less fortunate directly at home so it was interesting that my first time was in Brazil. I gave away a lot of clothes and feel no remorse for doing so. The show the kids put on for us and what I learned from it was amazing. Many think they have it bad until they see others. The smiles and grateful expressions on those ADORABLE kids faces will stay with me for the rest of my life. "
- Elsie Ndema, Jane Addams High School

An experience in Brazil I will never forget is the way the people reacted toward us. The Brazilians were all nice to us and very funny. The children all wanted to take pictures with us and were excited when we did. The children at the orphanage were especially excited when they were given all the gifts the PSAL brought for them. Having people look up to you is a great feeling.
- Krystina Agard, August Martin

" A few of the experiences I will never forget in Brazil is going to the museum and witnessing the different artifacts from the past and the present. Another experience is when we visited the orphanage and seeing how happy the little kids were dancing and flipping around seeing the kids happy while receiving the gifts just made me even happier."
- Shanade Bernard, Queens High School of Teaching

" My expectations of the trip were to: have a good time, play against good basketball players, meet new people, get a tan and to stay in a nice hotel with a pool. My favorite part of the trip was: going to the orphanage and seeing the cute kids, giving them stuff, taking pictures with them and just meeting them. The experience that I will always remember is going to the orphanage, seeing the road where the car moved by itself, climbing on the wires, playing with my teammates and Beleza! "
- Diana Choibekova, Baruch College Campus
